Source and limitations
U.S. Census Bureau, 2020–2024 American Community Survey 5-year estimates, B01003 and B11001; retrieved through Census Reporter on 9 September 2026.
2020–2024 ACS 5-year period estimates, not a single-year census or current population count. Population includes group quarters; households count occupied housing units. Survey estimates have sampling uncertainty, particularly for small areas. Raw source responses retain published margins of error. Boundaries are the 2017 edition: Chugach (02063) and Copper River (02066) estimates are summed into the former Valdez–Cordova area (02261), labeled combined. All 30 current source areas are represented in 29 mapped areas. Other boundary changes within matched identifiers are not harmonized.
