Source and limitations
INSEE, Emploi, chômage, revenus du travail, 2025 edition: Chômage dans les régions, figures 2b, 4b and 5b.
Annual unemployment rates as a percentage of the corresponding labour force, not of all residents. Youth means ages 15–24. Metropolitan France only; overseas departments are excluded from this focused view. The 2015 and 2024 overall rates share a color scale; youth unemployment uses its own range.
